More Lyrics!

Baby, if you've ever wondered,
wondered whatever became of me.
It has something to do with me putting together a Christmas album at the last minute. It will be sweet, trust me.

Also, if you haven't already spotted it yet, I'm co-owner of another blog, Rancho Relaxo. It's all about me and my cohabitants at Northwood Ranch. Unlike this one, everything that gets printed there is more or less true. It's just that all the juicy parts get edited out. Anyway, the point of this paragraph is that I'm posting lots over there as well, and hence don't have time for this blog.

However, by request I'm revisiting a previous true !true post, the ever-popular song lyric request show. Read the first edition if you haven't already. And here's Agent Kondukt's request for heart-felt lyrics of insecurity, heartbreak (sort of?) and automobiles in the style of Matt Reid:

I’m finding myself each day a little wearier
The constant yelling and gestures giving me an inferior
Complex
As though I’m some sort of misfit
I’m just trying to get by, eke out my own existance
But you’re running me down, or pushing me out of the way
I try not to worry, but fear I’ll end this day
Trapped under the wheels, the weight pushing me under
And with the way people act, it gives me little wonder
Why I should feel this way, day in and day out
Angry attitudes and garbage being thrown about

As before, you may request phony lyrics written in the style of your favourite lyricist, and I'll see what I can do.

Yeah, what were some of the Sloan ones? Those were great. You even broke the songs down into which Sloan member wrote them didn't you?
